If there is no greater example of my internal drive to write, I often structure my non-writing life in a way to maximize writing opportunities. For example, today I have a scheduled oil change for my car. Instead of planning to have someone pick me up when I drop off my car for its appointment, I come alone with my tablet and keyboard and strand myself with no choice but to write for an hour or two. As I sit in the waiting room of said car service center, the question is: how fruitful will today’s writing be?
